Need help in optimizing uboot size

Postby uBootUser » Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:49 am

Hi everyone,

I am trying to optimize the size of uboot binary to fit into my flash.
Would like to know, if any one has tried it before? any steps to follow to bring the size down?
Please suggest

Thanks in advance...

ummmm....uboot usually is well under 512K. Most devices have 128M or more. What device do you have?

we need to copy u-boot in the first block (always a good block), of a nand device to reduce the chance of any errors.
