How to enable NAND flash in u-boot for lpc1788 controller

Postby partha » Mon Dec 08, 2014 8:01 am

Hi,
I am working on Lpc1788 customized board with peripherals like Nand flash(128MB from Samsung), SDRAM (32MB), TFT (320x240) which are all working properly with my bare metal programs.

Now, I am trying to port Embedded Linux using u-boot on the same board. I got u-boot for 1788 board which has no support for Nand flash. I want to enable the Nand flash in the U-boot with proper memory mapping changes (for SDRAM, NAND and TFT). Can any one help me how I can do this.

I have did my level best research and put my effort to do it on my own, but couldn't able to make it.
Please let me know, if any clarification is required from my side.

If you have steps in doing the same, i am ready to do from scratch as i am still in learning mode. So, willing to explore my BSP knowledge.

Thanks in advance & Warm Regards
Partha
