Including grsecurity to the ARM kernel

Postby Paradoxon » Tue Jan 06, 2015 3:03 pm

Hallo,
I would want to run a small webserver on a Banana Pi whose kernel is hardened with grsecurity.

Unfortunately, I could not find any information on google if this is possible or not. (And I could not find a distribution for ARM that already includes grsecurity.)
As "normal" Archlinux offers a kernel that is already patched with grsecurity, is it possible to include it in the ARM-version?

One website suggests, that several patches might be needed to be applied in the right order.(http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/docs/kerncomp.php) As grsecurity only supports vanilla kernels, it should probably go first/the preconfigured grsecurity-Archlinux-Kernel should be used.
Where do I go from there?

Has anybody done this before? Any ideas?

If I find a solution, I will post it here.

We have no official support for the BananaPi.

In theory, any mainline kernel should be able to work with these.
