Well, getting serial is going to be your #1 priority at this point. I can't say that I have the 310 support built into that kernel!

When I'm not mistaken the install files for the 310 uses the same checksum file as the ones for the 320. But starting with firmware 4.40 the 310 needs another one.
You can download the 'Universal usb_key_func.sh' package here, add the contents to the stick, (most files are not needed, but won't hurt either) read the README and rename the right file.

Yeah, might just need to update the contents of the zip.

Hi again, anyone was able to make front buttons work? I cannot shutdown my NSA320 using the power button, everytime I need to reboot I need to remove the power and insert again.

I'd suggest just ssh and shut it down. Have you tried holding the power button down?

I am losing connectivity when I reset the router, so I need to reboot because I can't ssh

I didn't try holding the power button, but it will hard reset right? What I want is a safe reboot/shutdown

I am trying to build a 3.12.2 kernel for my NSA320. However, I don't seem to have a DTS file for the nsa320, only nsa310 and nsa310a. Is there something I am missing from my kernel? I have the kirkwood patch that provides the NSA support and I can see references to NSA320. Just no nsa320 dts file. So I tried the nsa310a file and here is the result on boot

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
Error: unrecognized/unsupported device tree compatible list:
[ 'zyxel,nsa310a' 'zyxel,nsa310' 'marvell,kirkwood-88f6281' 'marvell,kirkwood' ]

Available machine support:

ID (hex) NAME
00000f74 ZyXEL NSA320 2-Bay Power Media Server

Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader.

I have not made a DTS file for it.
