$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('crimsonredmk', 'T')he problem will be a usable user interface for tablets for Arch Linux ARM. There's really nothing that'll do the trick...

The newer e17 illume profile has a nice layout for tablets. You dont have any armv7 packages for it in the repo and I tried to cross-compile it but got tied up with other projects since kernel source was released for my phone but it really has a nice setup for tablets and small touchscreen devices. Maybe I can get some help on that from the masters as well?

EDIT: I was playing around with e17 packages on my laptop and decided to screenshot the Illume profile. I think it would be perfect for archlinux-arm native boot. Of course I didnt bother with icon themes or other eye-candy but as you can see, very touchscreen friendly as everything is pretty much re-sizable from the settings

It can be cross-compiled for ARM. Its very lightweight and can be used on platforms much less powerful than the touchpad. I havent had time to even attempt to compile it nor is my knowledge of cross-compiling whole packages sufficient to really complete it lol. I believe ArchLinux-Arm has packaged in their repo for other platforms (armv6?) but it would just need to be made for v7. Hopefully one of these guys can either help me learn how to do it or if quicker, get it compiled and in the repo themselves. All fingers are crossed at this point :D

We have no armv6 repo (since really, the only v6 out there at the moment our users are using is the oxnas, which doesnt not have vfp), so it is either v5-soft or v7-hard-vfp3-d16

Ah, Well I saw it in one of the repos (just checked it was v5) and now I see new packages in armv7 repo, this is just a great place. :D :D :D

Well then we may need to fire up a new repo for that device, but that's a new topic.

Enlightenment is available for v7h. You have a choice between 1.0.10 from the 'enlightenment' package, or use the 'e-svn' package for a recent e17 svn build.
Arch Linux ARM exists and continues to grow through community support, please donate today!
