$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
# modinfo ox820_gpio
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.31.14_SMP_7821/kernel/arch/arm/plat-oxnas/ox820_gpio.ko
license: GPL
description: OX820 GPIO Test driver
depends:
vermagic: 2.6.31.14_SMP_7821 SMP mod_unload ARMv6
parm: INPUT_MASK:charp
parm: OUTPUT_MASK:charp
')
this kernel module may be useful for test GPIO, but i don't know how to use it.

As I would like to use recent miniature USB WLAN dongles with the dc01, I do need support for rtl8192 and alikes. This seems to be pretty standard for newer x86 kernels, but only bundled with pci enabled and lots of errors in combination with my 2.6.31 kernel sources. I wonder if there is a 3.x kernel with these already included for ARM around.

To my knowledge warheadse was doing some work on 3.1, but I don't know if this kernel can be successfully compiled for DC01. Is there a 3.x oxnased kernel source tarball around, I could give a try? I don't need buttons and LED support, but to have the inner workings like cache invalidation etc right, would be a must.

As I have a cross compilation environment on my home linux box, I can do kernel/module compiles for oxnas in no time :-)

The answer is no. Only those of use working on 3.1+ kernels from my trees are doing any work. PLX .. grr.

Your 3.1+ source trees do work on OXNAS hw? If so I would like give it a try.

They do work, yes. See my personal github. But! Know that there is an issue in it regarding sata performance, as well as high contention memory/cpu load causes a hang, probably from bad coherency.

I just hit an unexpected problem wir USB HID devices. When I try to get a WMR100 weather station connected (that uses USB HID communication) the following message pops up.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using oxnas-ehci and address 7
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using oxnas-ehci and address 8
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using oxnas-ehci and address 9
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 9, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using oxnas-ehci and address 10
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 10, error -71
hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
')

I have all ticks done for hid support in the menuconfig when compiling kernel and modules. Is that a known problem with oxnas-ehci? Does someone have a suggestion/work-around to get USB HID devices running? I have kernel 2.6.31.14 running.

I put a USB 2.0 HUB in between and it works. So it looks to me like the oxnas USB drivers can't handle USB 1.x HID devices. Does anyone know a cure for that?

Hi,

I have Silverstone DC01 (Akitio mycluod mini) now too. Can you tell me, where are serial TX and RX on the motherboard?

There is a new uImage for Silverstone DC01 / Akitio mycloud mini available:

http://tilator.wippiespace.com/uImage

but it has bad CRC value.

Is there anybody, who can fix this from the binary part of the file?
