HI all.

Wonderful work with Arch Linux ARM, I' got it on a PogoPlug Pink and it's running like a charm.
I've also a Qnap TS-119 with debian installed... but I run Arch everywhere, so I'd really like to replace it with Arch Linux ARM.
Any plans for a porting to this Nas? I would gladly help with testing.

Looks like standard plug hardware -- 1.2GHz Marvell Kirkwood SoC. You should be able to get this distro installed. I imagine you should be able to go through most of the same steps you did for Debian. We don't have any guides for that specific device, but we'll help in any way we can to get things installed and create a guide for others.

I'm going to create a restore image for the flash partitions in case something goes wrong.

Apparently the flash partition dedicated to the kernel on the TS-119 isn't big enough for the Arch Linux ARM kernel.
The Debian one is smaller (around 2 MB).
I need to recompile it and slim it down a little.

If this is a kirkwood, then you dont necessarily need to flash the kernel, just the uboot.

I would start by getting a serial console working, then try out the bootloaders we have available for Kirkwood systems via tftp to see what happens. That way it's a non-destructive path just to test scenarios. You could also tftp the kernel in, see if that even boots properly.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I've ordered some components for the serial port.
The unit is already flashed with the uboot coming with the debian installer, but I'm going to recover the original firmware before any further attempt... in order to have a common base for people with the standard device.
