Problem with udev on OK6410

Postby lang2 » Sun Oct 23, 2011 4:54 pm

Hi all,

So I'm trying to bring up ALARM on OK6410 using the ARMv5 rootfs. It boots OK but soon after init, udevd keeps spitting out

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'udevd[1107]: unable to receive ctrl connection: Function not implemented')

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

We have: it is caused by the kernel not having sys_accept4 implemented.

What version is the kernel you are running? If it is less than 2.6.38/9 then install udev-oxnas, as it removes that usage from udev.

It's named udev-oxnas because the oxnas platform is the first we had this problem on.

thanks. the oxnas rootfs does work better. Although having it's own problems, udev works fine.

Oh, I didn't mean you had to use the oxnas rootfs, just udev-oxnas. I don't know much about this 'OK6410'

Good to know that much is sorted out.
