ARM Cortex A9 & Mali graphics processor 400

Postby atv2000 » Sun Nov 06, 2011 10:07 am

I have ordered a media box which has ARM Cortex A9 & Mali graphics processor 400 running Android 2.3

I'm just wondering whether Arch -ARM will work on this out of the box to use as a media centre and PVR.

Any comments much appreciated.

Depending on the exact processor they use, you might need a separate kernel than what we provide. You'd also need hard-float graphics drivers for the GPU in order to use it. Android isn't hard-float, so their drivers won't work. Otherwise, all other software in the v7h repo will work.

Kernel Sources and drivers can be found here:

Can someone check if they are useful?
