You can build their kernel and use the armv7h filesystem (Archos 5, G8, G9). Start with something like the OMAP rootfs, add your kernel, and get it onto the device.
X drivers are separate, and they will need to be built hard-float to run here. These are more often than not closed source, and available as binary blobs only. Since Android is the target for these manufacturers, they're almost all of the time only available built soft-float, which means they will not run with this distribution. The kernel dumps generally contain working framebuffer drivers, which you can make use of with X for non-accelerated video.
