Old tablet Nokia N800

I got hold of one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N800. It is running Maemo, which is bloated and slow. Has anyone ever tried to install ArchLinux ARM? What about hardware support? It seems a lot hackery in the kernel would be needed http://elinux.org/N800, probably the result will not be worth the effort.
