Possible to install on eee pad transformer? non-chroot

So far I've seen quite abit about installing linux via chroot on an andriod device, but how do I install it such that I boot into linux but not andriod which should be faster and use less resources. I am on an eee pad transformer TF101

Thats for Ubuntu. Can I do the same for Arch?
