$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'I') have yet to be able to re-create the problem on my device.

It seems that each time I think about saying this, we make some progress and I keep my mouth (or keyboard) shut, but I'll go ahead and say it now:
I'd be willing to ship you an offending device if it might help you.

On the other hand, we both know that as soon as it makes the trip and feeds on your electricity instead of mine, it will likely begin working as it should.... :-/

Are you able to reproduce the issue right now?

If so, we'll drop you the fix to test.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Kurlon', 'A')re you able to reproduce the issue right now?

Yes, with 100% consistency. Arch never works unless I've booted stock at least once since the last power-down, in which case it always works.

I'm happy to test anything you send my way.

I've got a kernel build started, if you can, join us on IRC #archlinux-arm on freenode.net.

So, demonstrated that my theory about the gigeth definition in the board file wasn't the culprit with a couple test kernels. The only other thing jumping out at me is the huge difference between the uboot MPP setup, and what the kernel is setting it to:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[ 13.939119] initial MPP regs: 21111111 01003311 33331100 33003333 00000533 20202000 00000000
[ 13.939151] final MPP regs: 01111111 00003311 00001100 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000')

We're ignoring a LARGE number of multi-purpose pins and I'm not 100% certain that's right. Unfortunately I'm not able to translate the initial set to a valid conf based on what mpp.h lists, the select numbers don't make sense for many of the pins.

What that does tell me though, is there something, I am not sure what, isn't being init'd right.

Hello,

I am having the same probleme, but booting to stock firmware don't solve in my case,
egiga0 works, I got an IP adress and can ping google, but after reboot to arch I got
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[ 46.734512] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready')

how do you reboot and keep eth0 working ?

thanks

Did you /sbin/reboot or reboot from the admin console?
