Non of the developers have one to work with, so it might be slower.

That would be good. You can buy them for $50 At: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/MK802-Android-4-0-Mini-PC-HDMI-IPTV-HDD-Player-Smart-Android-Box-w-Allwinner-A10/569991231.html About + $7 for shipping that take from there to the USA about 2 week! So about $57.

Has a 2 core ARM 1.6GHz Cortex-A9 with 1GB of RAM. b/g/n wireless. Low power just 5 volts at 2 amp at the most.

It be nice to see this running something else. I would like to run it as a server. The video part would not be used.

I got the UG802 in the mail today. It works super good. It's a little like a rubber case. Small. I put a 32GB SD card in it with a image of the MK508 on it but it boots up in Android like it's not there. That SD card booted Linux on my MK508.

But looks like with apps can install a Ubuntu noroot on it.

Only been playing with it about a hour 1/2 now. It seems real good. I guess some one will make some other Linux work in it with time.

Looks like can't ran any good apps on it with out rooting it, and that seems hard. I could not want to mess with the OS on it's built in flash memory any way. It be nice if it would just boot a new OS off a USB hard drive or flash card plugged in the side of it.

They have Ubuntu Desktop runing on it now. But I been runing it with out booting in the desktop to run it as a server.

Here is some commands I just did to show some info on it.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'root@small3:/# uptime
17:23:58 up 16 days, 11:38, 2 users, load average: 0.18, 0.17, 0.15
root@small3:/# uname -a
Linux small3 3.0.8+ #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Nov 29 23:53:42 CET 2012 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux
root@small3:/# head -n1 /etc/issue
Ubuntu 12.10 \n \l
root@small3:/# grep MemTotal /proc/meminfo
MemTotal: 863396 kB
root@small3:/# cat /proc/cpuinfo

root@small3:/#')

Got a webpage runing on it and WordPress and other things and it's running fast. So small and very little power. I have 2 USB hard drives on it too. Works real good. You can see the uptime. So it's not messing up.

They just came out with a 2GB RAM one too. It's a nice little system. I found the 2GB RAM one here: About $70. Can find the 1GB ones for about $50. From this link it takes them about 6 weeks to get it to the USA.

The UG802 is low price now because they have a new 4 core 2GB RAM one out now. Look up MK908.

Looks like it only run Android now. No Linux at all. To bad it should work super with Linux. I love to see it with that or Aarchlinux ARM.

They all so up the MHz too to 1.7 each of the 4 cores. The 4 core GPU is a little faster too. But no even on the UG802 with Linux they have the GPU cores working. It does work in Android and works super good playing any 1080P video.

There's the new rk3188 (mk802 IV, mk 908) and there's the ubuntu support for it.
But i am still curios about the archlinuxarm support for the allwinner a31/a20 device, does anyone know how to get archlinuxarm running on these devices?

We'll have A20/A31 support soon. We've currently no plans to support rockchip.
