Has anyone tried to boot with 3.11-rc2 kernel?

I wonder, what means "There are some things missing (audio, usb 3.0, backlight and more)" - particularly about backlight not working. Does it shows anything at all on the screen?
Also, what are the changes for recent 3.4.0 arch linux kernel "chromebook-linux"? It seems we've lost compatibility with binary Mali blob, so gles tests are not working. Anyway, it was very buggy with my awesome setup (black screen when switching tags, disappearing of top panel). So, I am using the fbdev driver for now. BTW, can we make html5 videos in chromium to play using x11 output mode instead of missing/laggy xv?

I removed the ring thingie near the USB3 port, but it does not allow me to flash it with nv-u-boot. I don't have an SD card, I'm booting Arch from a USB stick, so that may be the problem. Any ideas?

P.S. I cleaned the ring area thoroughly.

The screw might need to be removed as well, if it is making contact.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', ' ')4. install the flashroom-google package

Quick question, where do I get the flashrom-google package from and how do I install it?

Many thanks,

The package name is indeed "flashroom-google" but it installs flashrom.google.

I'm pretty sure that it makes no contact, but it's still write-protected.
"flashrom --wp-disable" is unrecognized, even with flashrom installed.
"flashrom.google --wp-disable" fails because it's write-protected.

I can only imagine that the problem is that I'm booting off the USB stick and not an SD card, but I may be wrong. Maybe somehow I failed to remove the write-protection.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the sources for flashrom-google? Maybe I can compile it on Lubuntu.

^ Yeah, the screw is still there, but it doesn't make contact between the two half-rings. At one point, I even put a piece of paper between the metal thingie and the motherboard and booted it like that, just to make sure there is no sort of contact. Obviously, it didn't work, simply because the screw has nothing to do with it. I removed the silver ring that made the contact.

As I said before, maybe it doesn't allow flashing the firmware from the USB stick, I don't really know. I thought I'd try from Lubuntu because it's installed on the SSD (or emmc, whatever it is).

Anyway, it's something I can live with, but the scary screen is annoying.

Hello,

I found a solution for unexpected Wakeup during Suspending

Just find the path to the Trackpad device:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'dmesg | grep Trackpad')

Add a code to prevent waking up by touchpad
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'echo disabled > /sys/devices/s3c2440-i2c.1/i2c-1/1-0067/power/wakeup')
somewere in startup process (i use systemd units)
