ODROID-X2 Support?

Install Arch Linux ARM on other devices.

Ahhh, so more of a round robin scenario. That can be done no problem. The biggest problem I had with doing that with 3-4 cameras was waiting for the sensor to settle and adjust. fswebcam is good for that as you can discard several frames before taking one or several.

That's exactly what I'm using for mine. Very handy bit of software. I'm hoping I'll be able to use the ODROID as the main controller for all this eventually, if I can solve the USB reset issue, as I think it's a good bit of kit. Otherwise it will be the Cubox. I greatly appreciate all your efforts on getting these devices running Arch.

So will the previously spoken about U2 images work on the X2?

The U2 image doesn't work on my X2. The kernel boots, but ethernet is down. I cannot really see what's going on because I don't have the debug board. AFAK the X2 has a different ethernet controller than the U2. I also tried copying kernel and modules from the linux-odroid-x2 package over to the U2 image, but I am still seeing the same outcome...

They came in talking about a U2 image....that wouldn't work on an X2?!
The title of the thread is X2 support! I got my hopes up and they were crushed!

doesn't work with odroid-u2, even though the original odroid-x image used to boot successfully on odroid-u2 with network and all

EDIT: apparently the partitions on my microsd card have been "broken" by all those attempts to get Arch running - now that I have reformatted the whole card and written the odroid-x2 image to the card, it booted successfully

Great, really been looking forward to this.

Should thiss work from the emmc memory card ? I tried dd'ing it ontop of a linario install, but it wouldn't boot.

Everything worked on the sd card though, but I'd like the speed of the emmc card.

Thanks

This SHOULD work with the eMMC (that's what I used to make it actually). I still have some stuff to work out and SOON, I should be able to have ONE image for all of them.
