nitrogen6x dual-core

There's a platform page with root filesystem tar for the Nitrogen6x quad-core. Any chance you can also create the root filesystem tar for the dual-core version?

Mine hangs at Booting the Kernel on the dual-core. Any advice?

The filesystem will be the same, but you may need to bring your own kernel.

I don't see any specific references to the dual-core in any recent kernel commits from Boundary.

You might try redownloading the rootfs, I just updated it a couple days ago. The new version has the latest kernel in it, which is a big jump from the previous version. That might work for you.

Sorry for the late reply. Downloaded the lastest root tar ball but get the following error:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

I can boot the linaro-ubuntu distro so I know my SD card and boot env on the board are good.

Any suggestions? All I did was create a ext3 partition and extract the tar file.

Does the on-board uboot call the bootscript_6q or a 6d?

It's using 6x_bootscript and U-Boot 2013.01-00059-g7f08dc4
Boundary Devices renamed 6q_bootscript to 6x_bootscript.

This sounds an awful lot like you didn't follow our explicit instructions to extract the rootfs tarball as actual root, not via sudo, not with a normal user.

No disrespect but I'm very familiar with the use of tar and did extract it as user root. I've also done the extraction on 2 other SD cards with the same result.
