$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('flakedave', '
')just wanted to report that I issued the update today (I redownloaded from github the folder drinkcat-chroagh-b223916 and then ran installer/main.sh, could that be the source of problems?).
Unfortunately after entering-chroot if I startxfce4 I get

Completely my fault. Integrated an update from crouton, and forgot to update it in chroagh...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('flakedave', '
')"if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" I forget this too often, I shouldn't have updated ;)

No no, not at all, please update and report bugs ,-) Oh, and reinstalled an older version of chroagh would have saved you.

Finally, you may want to report on github, easier for me to track. Thanks!

I have noticed loadkeys command doesn't seem to work. If I enter the ALARM chroot, go to the console and type:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$ sudo loadkeys
Loading /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/es.map.gz')

loadkeys reports it's loading the table, but keyboard maps doesn't change. Is this a known issue?

loadkeys is for console keyboard layout (which does not apply for crouton).

Use setxkbmap instead:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'setxkbmap -layout us')

You can configure it in xfce if you want it to be applied automatically. If you decide to do so, don't forget check back in a while, there is a new keyboard model coming soon, that will support Caps Lock+* shortcuts (for now keep a standard keyboard model (104/105 keys)).

That did the trick, thanks!

I didn't know you are working on a new keyboard. That's great news! It would be neat if you can get back some of the shortcuts used in ChromeOS, like ALT+ cursor keys for Page up/down, home and end. I really miss these keys :D
