ALARM on Polaroid 701i?

ALARM on Cortex A8.

I'm looking to get the Polaroid 701i tablet from Big Lots for really cheap, but it would only be worth it if Arch could run on it. Is it possible? How do I find out?

As a chroot, just fine. We devs don't have the time to work with touch interfaces & the video drivers for some of these "interesting" devices, you you might need to BYOK if you want to run natively, and maintain your own video/input drivers.

I own a PMID701c and have been able to install various linux distros to the sdcard with berryboot. Using berryboot also alows you to keep android on the tablet if you choose.
Depending on which version of the PMID701I you get, there are 3 different models, the 701I 10, 701I X10, and the 701I 13. The PMID701C has an Allwinner A10 in it. The PMID701I models get a little weird in what they have hardware wise. With this series of tablets things got a little weird with the way they were made. All of the PMID701C's are the same, the PMID701I's on the other hand vary a bit in what they can do. It seems that instead of upgrading the hardware they went about cutting corners instead and each tablet in the 701 series that came out after the 701C was a downgrade to the one previous. From what I understand the PMID701I X10 is the closest to the 701C.
