[How-To]Getting WiFi adapter based on realtek 8188eu to work

Postby moonman » Sun May 26, 2013 9:04 am

So far only I know of 1 adapter that this is useful for: TP-Link TL-WN725N v2. The module will get compiled on the device so it may take several minutes. Also it will get recompiled with every kernel update. This module is in the repository available for all architectures.

Code: Select all
pacman -Sy dkms-8188eu

Make sure to activate dkms service so that the module is rebuilt automatically with a kernel upgrade:
Code: Select all
systemctl enable dkms
systemctl start dkms
