Guide for using the serial port on the Pogoplug v2

Postby oneguynick » Tue Dec 17, 2013 5:51 am

I did a short write-up on opening the Pogoplug v2 and using the serial port to enable SSH/Telnet since the support with Pogo is HORRIBLE

Well they aren't going to tell you how to do it after all :P

This however should have existed out on the net for a while. A fresh copy to confirm all is still good never hurts though :)

Here is my tutorial. It uses a CD-ROM Audio Cable (Sound Blaster/MPC-2) to keep things simple.

Pogoplug V2 and V3 Serial Connection

BTW, you don't need to enable SSH via the my.pogoplug.com service. SSH is enabled by default. It is only disabled after you activate the Pogoplug.
