Buy raspberry pi in Australia

Postby enifeder » Mon Jun 18, 2012 3:56 am

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a raspberry pi in Australia. I am just wondering if anyone has any input about how long it will take. I have seen element14 is selling it but it is out of stock with a supplier lead time of 72 days.

Has anyone ordered from them? or is there another way to get a pi in Australia?

I don't really want to wait months...
Thanks

Everyone has a delay right now. Supply/demand and such. The FASTEST way to get a Pi would be ebay. You're going to pay out the ***** for it, but you'll get it faster. Or you can wait. Those are your two options.

Mine has just arrived in Brisbane, but I ordered back in March. Another guy from here was recently told 10 weeks, and I don't think there's much you can do to get around that. At least you can take hope that they're actually being delivered here now :)
