Funny, but this problem happened to me since the first time I installed archlinux. Does anyone knows what's the problem?

What date is your pi set too?
Did you convert to systemd or use new image?
Did you edit User=transmission in /usr/lib/systemd/system/transmission.service
sysv systems you edit /etc/conf.d/transmissiond

I had a problem with the NTP daemon, but already solved.
