You linked OP. I'm well aware that there might be regressions or broken features if that's what you mean.
I have also seen post where Dom suggests rebuilding XBMC - I'll do that tomorrow if I'm not too busy with preparing for math exam. This morning I found heatsink in mail so hopefully I'll get to play with overclocking.

I meant to just trim out sid= stuff, awkwark on ipad
The repo must be building on a rpi rootfs, with raspberrypi-firmware installed, guess makedepend needs to be the next one

The chroot's don't have the firmware installed, it's brought in by xbmc-rbp-git as a depend. I'm not opposed to duplicating the package to depend on the -next stuff if you want to do that.

I just test built doing that, had to modify CFLAG as well

xbmc-rbp-git-next is in the repo, 128 Mb gpu memory required
