Safe to update?

Postby harroxelas » Tue Jul 30, 2013 9:14 pm

Hi all,

It's been a while since I last updated my ALARM system (2013-04-20 according to my pacman.log). Is it safe to fully update the system? Were there any manual interventions required during this time?

I'm asking because on the regular arch distro the move of binaries to /usr/bin happened.

Thanks in advance!

Anything that required manual intervention on the main distro probably does here as well. I know I had to go through the binary move on my pi as well as my desktop.

Ok. Will have to take care of this and migrate from netcfg to netctl.

On regular, Arch only the non-offical packages actually required an intervention. It's probably the case in ALARM as well then.

Thanks, bro!
