Running Mono (hard float) on Raspberry Pi

Postby ARMageddon » Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:41 pm

Hi,

I'm a beginner on Linux but really like the philosophy "The Arch Way" and therefore trying to learn more about Linux starting with Arch Linux.

I'am a .NET developer and Iike my Raspberry Pi, and this makes me wanna run .NET applications on my RPi using Mono (with hard float support).

Have any of you succedded to run Mono with Hard-float on your RPi's?

I would be very thankful if someone of you could guide me on how to do this.

Do I need to fetch the latest source code from GitHub and then compile it directly on the RPi?

I would suggest looking at related threads here in this forum. It's recently been fixed, and should be packagable soon, IIRC.
