Alfa Wlan AWUS036NHR not working

Postby h4xx » Wed Dec 25, 2013 12:54 pm

Hello everyone,

iam running my Raspberry Pi with the latest Kernel (3.12.6-1-ARCH).

Unfortunately the Alwa Wlan USB Adapter AWUS026NHR never worked for me (also not with the standard Kernel).

lsusb:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:817f Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188RU 802.11n WLAN Adapter

when trying to connect to a Network via wifi-menu it finds the Nework and tries to connect to it.

it exits with an error.

journalctl -xn:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '-')- Unit netctl@wlan0@WLAN.service has begun starting up.

Using other Wireless Adapters wifi-menu connects without any problems.
I guess that this is a Driver issue in the 3.1x Kernels.

I dont´t found via google how to compile the drivers for arm or fix that problem somehow.
Maybe someone can help me with that problem?

Thank you!
