Next Pi kernel and firmware

Postby towolf » Mon Mar 24, 2014 12:01 pm

Hullo, they brought out new firmware that unlocks some camera modes that have been unavailable for a year, which I had been waiting for: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 43&t=72116

The current snapshot is from 2014-03-12. Is there going to be an update soon?

Consider
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -S linux-raspberrypi-latest')

Thanks, I didn’t know that existed.

What I’m after is newer GPU firmware and newer bcm2835-v4l2. I’m not asking for a newer Linux kernel.

I mean the packages raspberrypi-firmware-* that are still at 20140312, and which used to be updated every week.
