XBMC Gogham beta 2

Postby Clouseau » Wed Apr 02, 2014 7:58 pm

I'm using xbmc-rbp-git on my Pi. They switched the subtitles implementation(no longer as an addon but integrated in xbmc) few months ago and ever since then there are problems with Opensubtitles,Podnapisi sites, subtitles doesn't download or error pops up. The latest xbmc gotham beta 2 fixes many issuess with subtitles so I wan't to know is xbmc-rbp-git 13.20140324, which is currently latest arch build, a gotham beta 2? If I go to system info settings in xbmc it says xbmc 14.0-Alpha1 Git:20140324-56c4aee...

I now see even the beta 3 came out http://xbmc.org/xbmc-13-0-gotham-beta-3-returns/

I didn't realise 14 alpha was already in the master branch. I'll switch out the branch and rebuild the package. BTW it is beta 4 already on their git. https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commits/Gotham

It seems they switch the branch from master to whatever the release name is as soon as it enters beta. We'll keep this package in beta for now, until it's stable then I'll switch it to 14.

As for quoting, do you have the correct timezone set in the preferences for this board? Otherwise it could be spam protection. Manual quote tags should still work though

I will as soon as i get home from my trip to Europe. Xbmc-rbp-Git will always be unstable, xbmc-rbp is the stable package.
