Hi all, new to the forums so forgive me and whatnot. I'm also somewhat new to linux (~1yr Ubuntu) so forgive me that as well!
Now then,
I have a raspi running archlinux arm (hence why I am here) and I have managed to get myself into a bit of a pickle! I can no longer log in to my pi.
Over ssh I get "Server Unexpectedly Closed Network Connection" (PuTTY)
I have one user (not root) logged in on the device, and when I try sudo su, it prompts password, then says
"System is booting up.
Sorry, try again."
I can run commands with this user, but I can't do much of value, like run halt or unmount my drive to try to reboot.
I think this started after installing MPD(Music Player Daemon) and trying to get that working. Of course this included a Pacman -Syu so I would guess that is more likely to do something strange. Anyway, without being able to log into root, It seems like I am kind of screwed, since I can't even reboot, but any help is sincerely appreciated!
The "System is booting up" Line is most curious to me. Does anyone know anything about that?
Thanks a bunch!
Edit: I have tried different IPs for ssh and as I said, on the device itself. I am certain I am typing in the correct password.
