$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('moonman', 'I')nstalling alarm on f2fs partition will be tricky. I left the details out on purpose.
you need f2fs tools from aur https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/f2fs-tools

Converted my sd card to f2fs and it works fine. Coupled with BFQ it seems a little (noticably) snappier in lxde. F2FS should help with sd card wear as well.

i fully agree. :)
RPi works smarter with f2fs and alsa (important for one of my tasks) is working now fine like on x86.

If anyone is interested I have a minimalistic monolithic kernel builded.
It is extreamly stripped down.

I can post instruction on how to cross compile a kernel for RPI on arch

NO gpio.
NO support for extenal modules

Supported HW:
RPi's internal stuff, exept the GPIO
UVC usb cameras and mics + support for input events
Windows MC remote control + lirc
regular USB HDD/CD-ROM drives
EXT4/3/2, BTRFS, F2FS, FAT,UDF,SQUASHFS
NFS server/client support. version 3/4
BFQ
