To keep the price for peripherals as customary and appropriate is a pleasure for me and not a question of my budget. Otherwise I wouldn't feel comfortable, the fun with RPi is (for me) to build projects with good and reliable but very reasonable components and nowadays you get them.
But i also understand the enthusiasm of not so experienced people throwing their money around. "just give them this chance. All is driven by demand" - that's it!
