clamav on Pi2 Model B

Postby nickarchpi2 » Thu Sep 01, 2016 1:27 am

Hi all. Does anyone use clamav and how does it run in regards to cpu and memory on a Pi.

When I run it on my Pi2 Model B it hits 100% cpu and 39% memory just scanning ~/

If I try to scan a 2TB drive containing large video files it returns errors.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'LibClamAV Warning: fmap: map allocation failed
LibClamAV Error: CRITICAL: fmap() failed')

Are there any tweaks that I can make to the config to maybe slow it down but not max the CPU or is the Pi2 too under powered to run clamav successfully.
