Yesterday I upgraded my Raspberry Pi 2 server, and some services were failing (namely smbd, guacd, tomcat8). I realized that the three of them were forking type systemd services, and that invoking the commands from the command line worked perfect.
So suspecting something is wrong with systemd, I downgraded to version 236.81 and everything went back to normal.
I confirmed that trying to start other services I were not using, of the forking type also failed (e.g. dhcpcd). It looks like systemd does not detect that the service has forked, or that the pid file has been created, and after a timeout, it kills the started process.
Is this problem confirmed? Should I file a bug report somewhere?
