enc28j60 - bad module

Postby Regsgon » Fri Nov 30, 2018 9:20 am

Hi to all,

I have installed arch linux arm on my Rpi Zero and tried to use ethernet interface. I have two types

Both communicates via the SPI interface, but first one you have to connect by wires. Second one is designed as PI HAT.

Problem is, that Arch linux arm causes packet loss and it is definitely problem of this distribution, because with Raspian distro runs all clearly. Same issue was comminicated here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12242 , but the answer is not correct, there is no problem with physical connection or frequencies issue.

Configuration at /boot/config.txt was same for Arch and Raspbian:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
dtparam=spi=on
dtoverlay=enc28j60
')

Does anyone have idea where can be diferences between Arch and Raspian? In kernel configuration? Or with firmware versions?

Thanks for any help!
R.
