Hi,

I've been trying to rotate my console so I can use my monitor when rotated 90degrees. I was successful in getting X to rotate the display (Option "Rotate" "CW"). However, I'm not able to get the same effect in the terminal/console.

I followed instructions from fbcon.txt: http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Document ... /fbcon.txt

First I changed boot command and added
fbcon=rotate:1
(see my dmesg) and this did not have any effect

Then I tried to echo 1 into /sys/class/graphics/fbcon/rotate and /sys/class/graphics/fbcon/rotate_all and this had no effect either.

Then I tried to echo 1 into /sys/class/graphics/fb0/rotate and the display blinked, some debug messages appeared in my dmesg (see below) but my console was not affected.

Any suggestions?
