Deluge (deluged) causes crash

Postby ArchBeekeeper » Thu Dec 13, 2012 9:59 pm

My Raspberry Pi was crashing from time to time, it was because of Deluge (I was running the daemon, deluged on a headless Pi)
All of the lights would remain blinking, but there would be no ethernet connectivity. I didn't have a monitor for it, so I don't know what was going on after the Pi went offline. I even checked in my router, and couldn't find the Pi.
I have since switched to transmission-cli and have not had a single crash.

I hope this helps someone.

Cheers!

Was it crashing, or just dropping the network? Of course a serial console would be needed if you are using it headless.

It could have been dropping the network. I would usually happen around every 12-24 hrs or so. All the lights were still on, but no ssh, no Rapspberry Pi appearing in the "Attached Devices" on the router. I have still have yet to have anything similar happen since I switched to Transmission, and it's been over a week of the Pi being constantly on.
