bluetooth keyboard and bluetoothd problems

Postby flyinghappy » Fri Jan 04, 2013 5:16 pm

On my pi I am having problems with my bluetooth keyboard. Bluetoothd takes 90% + processor and if I run journalctl -f bluetooth.service bluetooth just disconnects and the daemon stops running. At times it can even crash the pi. Any ideas where to look or personal experiences with bluetooth on arch arm and the pi?

I'm running with a 12-21-2012 image and have bluez installed and have a good power supply and have tried with the bluetooth dongle in the pi and the powered usb hub with no noticeable difference.

What version of bluez are you using? I too was having bluetooth issues, I was using bluez from the official repos. I'm building the latest version (5.0) right now. You may want to try that.
