PyRoom kiosk

Postby BesouroLaranja » Sun Jan 27, 2013 8:35 pm

So, good afternoon everybody.

I'm told Arch is the best to make a single-way-to-use computer (such as a kiosk). However, I have been having a lot of trouble to build a simple PyRoom kiosk, on acount of not being well experienc in linux (and computers in general). I am just a Ubuntu user who downloads prograsm via Program Center, or Synaptic, sometimes.

That's the thing: i need my pi to auto-login, auto-mount a thumbdrive, start a GUI and open PyRoom. PyRoom being closed, I need it to turn off.

I don't need sound or network. I'm not against having them, I just don't need them.

I've followed some tutorials, but couldn't have it work. (I.E.: http://superuser.com/questions/39129/be ... lso-how-to)

Any help?
