Mysql on Rapberry pi

Hi there,
i need to install mysql (not mariadb) on the raspberry pi, i've tried to install it using yaourt, but the versions i find there dont seem to suport armv6h.

Has any one solved this problem? I realy need mysql because the sintax between mariadb and mysql is no longer equal...

You need to change arch in PKGBUILD to arch=(armv6h), have plenty of swap and ram and a day or two to compile mysqld.

is there any way that i can compile it in another computer and the send it to the pi?

Compiling it on another machine.....not likely..

But why do you need mysql? MariaDB is compatible and is essentially a drop in replacement.

its not compatible, ive been banging my head with it for hours in previous atempts
