Pypy on the Pi

Postby D2theR » Sun Aug 04, 2013 8:24 pm

I am new somewhat new to to the Arch Arm community and wanted to know if anyone else has noticed a serious lack of support for running the low level version of Python, Pypy on ArchARM. I feel like this would be extremely useful and I am going to give cross-compiling it a shot. Right now it seems the only supported versions are for Raspbian (which in my opinion sucks on the Pi..), but as of now if anyone has found some useful links or blogs on this subject I would eternally grateful for the information. If the cross-compiling works I will try and upload it to the AUR repository for download, or just post a link here from those interested.

Normally this pkg is in community.
If builder never built it for arm then extra effort needed to compile. If you find out patch/config option requied let us know
