Bad ELF Header with MPD [SOLVED]

Postby ArchBeekeeper » Tue Jul 08, 2014 9:31 pm

When I try and run mpd, I get this error. It went away for a week or so and ran fine. Now it's back. Any suggestions? I've googled, but to no avail.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'mpd: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2: invalid ELF header
')

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'f')sk, and reinstall affected program and related library.

I tried FSCK (i thought that was what you meant). I also re-installed MPD. Still getting the same error. Thanks for helping though.

pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libxml2.so

Reinstall that package.

Thank you!!!!

It worked, and I learned how to find out what file is used by a package! It's easy to re-install after that! Awesome!!!
