I'm interested in seeing the %CPU use of an idle kodi on other people's RPis. Here is a simple command that will look at the %CPU use of kodi.bin once every 10 seconds for 1 min and log the output to a nice file.
Connect via ssh and look at the output of the following command:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'for i in {1..6}; do ps -eo pcpu,args | sort -k 1 -r | head -2 | grep kodi.bin>>kodi_usage.log && sleep 5s; done && cat kodi_usage.log')
Please post the output of kodi_usage.log to this thread. Note that kodi should be running but not playing a video or having RSS feeds running, screensaver active, etc. Here is my output on a my non-overclocked RPi model B:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '32.6 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd
32.6 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd
32.7 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd
32.6 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd
32.6 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd
32.6 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -l /run/lirc/lircd')
