Is there any way I can build packages for the raspberry on a x86_64 machine or better yet download wpa_supplicant pkg and install it on the raspberry?

The mirrors are all http. You can downloads packages from there, and make them available.

I assume this is because you have no means at all to use the ethernet ?

Yes, I removed it to make it slimmer and separated the USB in to 2 separate ones. How would I do that? right after I posted that I tried to wget but the connection was refused. I probably wrote the address wrong but how exactly?

You could always go to your repository of choice in a browser and download in the browser, or copy the URL from the browser for using with wget.

Pacman can also provide you with the exact urls of packages, assuming your mirror list is up to date. I am just not sure of the syntax for only doing a specific package instead of a full list of URLs for full system update from pacman. I believe you would use the -p print option as part of the command.
