What is the default root password?

Postby mirror333 » Wed Nov 04, 2015 10:37 am

I just follow the following installation guide to install the arch on a SD card
http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7 ... berry-pi-2

I can login as alarm with the password alarm, however I got an Access denied when logging in as root user with password root.

any advice?

As asked and answered many times: openssh 7 disables ssh password access for root by default. Ssh as alarm, then switch user to root. Password is root.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '9'). Use the serial console or SSH to the IP address given to the board by your router.
Login as the default user alarm with the password alarm.
The default root password is root.
