CA-CERTIFICATES on RPi (using f2fs)

Postby crashmaster » Fri Mar 11, 2016 4:27 am

On all sdcards for my RPi's i run f2fs and for months i'm happy so far.

But a problem is:
Install/updates of ca-certificates (dependance f.e. in openssl) makes big problems on f2fs. There are a lot of *.pem files with special (turkish?) characters in the filenames and it seems like f2fs can't handle them (a lot of "file has vanished" error messages are thrown). In the worst case the filesytem will be corrupted, no chance to repair it with 'fsck.f2fs'.

I compared the content of '/etc/ssl/certs' with arm7/x86 installations and i'm wondering: they don't include the same files and indeed no ones with special chars - why??

Thanks for your attention,
CM.
