CP210x with cubieboard2

Postby dzhon » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:53 pm

I have CP2102 USB -> UART converter which connected to my cubieboard2.
lsusb shows device properly, but no module present in system. So, device cp2102 behaves itself like a brick.
Is it possible to get it work on ArchLinux ARM?
Give me some advices or information about that driver.

So, I've build kernel with modified config and device becomes visible and functional.
I used default 3.3.0-2 PKGBUILD which is currenly available in repo. Now I am testing latest 3.4-cb2 kernel from cubieboard2. So, if it will successful, then I can post modified PKGBUILD/package here.

Do you have guidelines or requirements on particular kernel configurations in ArchLinuxARM ?

Don't post it here. Do a pull request @ Github.
