I bought an A10 7" tablet manufactured by SHENZHEN LYRIC PIONEER CO., LTD (http://www.lyxfsz.com/). The information as seen in the tablet (after booting Android) is model number MID. It shows other information like kernel version, build number etc. The device is working fine with Android 4.0.4. And there is no brand information any where. After searching over Internet, I could derive the information stated earlier.
Now I want to boot ArchLinux installed into microSD. First I am trying to boot a ready made image. Later on I will build my own.
So I got an image ArchARM-3.0.39-MK802.img.gz. Later burned the image(.img) into microSD. Inserted the microSD into my tablet and booted. Also connected an HDMI monitor to the tablet. However after booting via microSD, I didn't see any progress even after waiting for a minute. I think tablet does find a bootable image, because tablet is not going to usual Android. I also tried a few other images like Ubuntu etc. But no success.
I think either my image is inappropriate for my device or some configuration change is needed. But since there is no visible output, it is difficult to even say if booting is happening at all.
Please help.
