cubieboard2 mac address

Hey all,

I recently picked up a cubieboard2 and I'm having trouble setting up a static mac address.

I tried following the instructions here:

I tried editing both /boot/script.bin and /boot/uEnv.txt (on the arch linux partition)

Neither method seemed to work, the MAC address is still random on each boot.

Am I missing anything?

Alright I took a look at this thread

and I fixed the problem by using the extraargs=mac_addr=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX


Thanks for doing this project, I am a huge fan of arch linux, and am glad to be able to also be able to use it on my cubieboard!
