Changing resolution on pcduino3 in boot.scr, script.bin ?

Postby b0f00n » Mon Feb 09, 2015 5:07 pm

I have archlinux arm on SSD disk which is connected via SATA cable to pcduino3.
For booting I prepared the microSD card.
When the boot proces comes to kernel loading I get the following message from the monitor:
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1200@60Hz or any monitor listed timing as per the monitor specification."

Can somebody provide me a boot.cmd file for archlinuxarm ? I need to generate boot.scr and uImage.
I tried to edit boot.scr with nano but then booting doesnt work....
I need to write the boot.cmd file where I would like to add some options like:
http://linux-sunxi.org/Kernel_arguments
http://linux-sunxi.org/Manual_build_howto

Specialy I would very much appriciate if sombody explains how does the deafault boot.scr work.
Then I would like to add $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'disp.screen0_output_mode=EDID:1280x1024p60') to the boot.cmd if possible with resolution 1920x1200 at 60Hz .

Then I would generate a new boot.scr and uImage files with this command
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'mkimage -C none -A arm -T script -d /mnt/boot.cmd /mnt/boot.scr')

I would add then the files boot.scr an uImage into folder /mnt/boot/
and then umount /mnt

then this disk would be insterted back to pcduino SATA connector...

After editing boot.cmd and making a new boot.scr with mkimage tool, the notice is still here:
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1200@60Hz or any monitor listed timing as per the monitor specification."

Does anyone have pcduino working with a 1920x1200 monitor ?
